Step One: Read the specific advice below
Would you agree that getting the right people into your business is always a priority at Alexander Ross?
If a goal of your website is to attract the right people into your business, you are less likely to do that without really showcasing the benefits of working in one of your brands. A careers page is very helpful in this regard. The best performing candidates that are getting results for your competitors are asking what’s in it for them, like anyone would. These people could be visiting the website of any of your brands (Unico, Montague Lloyd or The Scottish Fine Soaps Company) but there is no place for them to find out what the benefits are of working in the business. The highest performers in any job need a motivating reason to make the change.
For example, you could have a careers page with a list of the benefits your employees see as working at Alexander Ross, and a simple contact form. If for a moment we assumed this person was working with you directly, you could have something like:
“Working with Robert Ross, our Managing Director, you’ll learn skills that can’t be taught on a course. You’ll learn skills that can only be taught by practical application and years of experience”
